Post-Matric Scholarship

Objectives:

Motivate students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those from single-parent families, to pursue higher education and reduce dropout rates after matriculation. Provide financial assistance for education specifically for tuition fees to ease the burden on students and their single-parent families. Ensure equal educational opportunities by supporting students from all communities, with a special emphasis on scholarship eligibility criteria for those from single-parent households. Enable students to gain the skills and knowledge necessary for better employment opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students who have completed their matriculation (Class 10) and are pursuing further studies in recognized institutions are eligible for financial assistance for education. Applicants must belong to economically disadvantaged backgrounds, with specific scholarship eligibility criteria, such as an annual family income below INR 2,00,000. Preference will be given to students from single-parent families, and supporting documentation is required. This opportunity is open to all communities.

Scholarship Amount and Coverage:

The scholarship provides financial assistance for education by covering the full or partial tuition fees as per the institution's fee structure. The amount awarded is directly transferred to the student’s bank account, subject to the scholarship eligibility criteria.

Application Process:

To apply for financial assistance for education, you will need to submit a detailed application form that includes personal, academic, and financial information. Additionally, proof of income, such as an income certificate from a competent authority, is required to meet scholarship eligibility criteria. You should also provide copies of your academic records along with the admission letter from the institution. Furthermore, documentation proving single-parent status, such as a death certificate of the other parent or legal documents of separation, must be included. Lastly, please provide your bank account details as part of the application.

Selection Process:

Initial screening will be conducted based on scholarship eligibility criteria. The selection process will be merit-based and take into account academic performance. There will be a preference for students from single-parent families. An interview or personal interaction may be included at the trust's discretion to assess candidates for financial assistance for education.

Disbursement of Funds:

The scholarship amount, which serves as financial assistance for education, is transferred directly to the student’s bank account in installments based on the academic term or semester, subject to the scholarship eligibility criteria.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Students are required to regularly submit academic progress reports, which are essential for assessing scholarship eligibility criteria. Additionally, periodic reviews and feedback sessions are conducted to ensure the effective use of funds and to track academic performance in relation to financial assistance for education.
